Endurance reimagined

Explore “Endurance reimagined” with Dr. Mike Ormsbee. This session challenges traditional endurance thinking by examining pre-exercise fuelling, pre-sleep nutrition, and the role of strength training and protein intake in supporting recovery, adaptation, and performance. Drawing on a contemporary evidence-based perspective, Mike will explore whether some of the most established ideas in endurance sport need to be reconsidered.

What we will cover:
Is endurance performance all about carbohydrate?
Does pre-sleep nutrition impact recovery and performance?
Do endurance athletes need protein supplements?
Can strength training improve endurance performance?
Which long-standing endurance nutrition beliefs now outdated?
