Trent is from Canada, studied at Guelph University, spent some time in Holland with Professor Luc van Loon, collaborated with a number of top researchers and has an impressive number of publications behind his name. He also worked as a senior scientist for PowerBar in Switzerland for a few years. Trent is one of the best in the World in translating science to practice. Trent now works at the Canadian Sport Centre as Senior Physiologist. He works with athletes on a daily basis, his wife Hilary is a former 1500m runner who ran at the Olympics for Canada, Trent was a runner himself and ran for Cornell University, so he understands both the theory, as well as how you turn that theory into something practical.
