Dr. Mike Ormsbee

Dr. Michael Ormsbee is the Associate Director of the Institute of Sports Sciences & Medicine and an Associate Professor in the Department of Nutrition, Food & Exercise Sciences at Florida State University. He is also an honorary research fellow at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Durban, South Africa. Dr. Ormsbee is a Fellow of both the American College of Sports Medicine and the International Society of Sports Nutrition and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). His research expertise involves the interaction of exercise training, nutrition, and supplementation to improve metabolism and achieve optimal body composition, human performance, and health in athletic and clinical populations. His course, “Changing Body Composition Through Diet and Exercise” is available worldwide through The Great Courses.

There are two ways to watch the live webinar: 1). Purchase the webinar, or 2). Subscribe to mysportscience academy premium or basic. 

Can I access the recordings after?

All lectures will be uploaded to this page for you to watch after the live webinar. 

Will there be an opportunity to ask questions?

Yes. We aim to have at least 15 minutes after all talks for a Q&A, and use Menti.com to collect your questions during the webinar.

How do I join the webinar live? 

After registering or subscribing, you will be sent an access link via email 24 hours before the webinar starts (check you junk/spam box).

Will there be handouts available afterwards?
