How to improve sleep with nutrition
Most advice around sleep optimization focuses on light exposure, routines, or supplementation. But nutrition is often overlooked — despite growing evidence that what, when, and how we eat can significantly influence sleep quality and duration.
And for athletes, where recovery windows are short and performance depends on sleep, that oversight can be costly.
In this webinar, Professor Shona Halson, one of the leading researchers in this field and Dr Carissa Gardiner unpack the current science on how nutrition affects sleep — from macronutrient timing to micronutrient intake — and translate it into actionable strategies for real-world use. Oh, and we will also tackle supplements: what claims can we believe?
Whether you're a coach, dietitian, academic, or athlete, this session will help you update your practice, avoid common missteps, and make sleep a consistent part of your performance toolkit.
